Friday, after an illness of about two days. Christina was 55 years old. Christina's death was caused by apoplexy and high blood pressure. Christina suffered a light stroke Tuesday noon and had been in bed most of the time since. Although Christina complained only of a severe headache, Christina was stricken with a second stroke about 8:30 A.M. Friday morning and died an hour and a half later.
